Planning Stages 8/11/11
Here at our house, we are getting ready for back to school. Needless to say, nothing was accomplished today for the Jamboree. Hopefully tomorrow I will have time to get some things done!

Planning Stages 8/10/11
Today, my sister, my nephew and myself, hit the pavement looking for event sponsors and team sponsors. So far, we have been able to get one more team sponsor! Yay! Thank you Lancaster Financial Services! Vendors are slowly coming in with 15 vendors already confirmed. BUT WE NEED VOLUNTEERS!

Vendors/Volunteers/Sponsors Needed
We are still looking for vendors to sell their products at the Jamboree. If you know someone that makes or sells jewelry, makes or sells purses, makes or sells candles, or sells other items, please send them our way! We will be having an ultimate experience that they can show and tell and sell their products! Booth spaces are 10' x 10'. Vendor must supply their own tent, chairs, tables, and product.
We also are going to need volunteers to help with the activities that will be going on! Please let me know if you can help out!

Planning Stages 8/5/11
I took today off and went to my mom's house so not much work done today. I had one interested vendor this morning and a prospected sponsor turn us down. Here's to hoping for a better week next week!

I've been trying to recruit sponsors all day today. I have some that seem interested but they will let me know. I had to leave messages for a lot of people so I hope it doesn't take too long for them to get back with me.

At today's team meeting, we decided to open up the event to sponsors to enable us to make sure that the event is as spectacular as we are hoping for. Planning Stages 7/28/11
As of today, we have 11 confirmed street vendors and 1 confirmed food vendor. I posted some announcements today and sent a few press releases. I'm still waiting to hear from the guy with the inflatables. I guess if I don't hear something tomorrow, I need to look somewhere else because that is the last thing that I have to get in motion.
Everyone that I have talked to seem to be just as excited about the event as I am. I'm super excited and I can't wait til September 10!

Julian Saverance - In Concert
Julian Saverance will be joining us in concert at the Jamboree. We now have 3 groups! Come join us to hear King's Cause, Julian Saverance, and Mercy's Well!
Group Needed
We still need a 3rd Christian music group to perform at the event. The open time available is 4:00pm. Kings Cause is performing at 2:00pm and Mercy's Well is performing at 6:00pm.

Planning Stages 7/26/11
Today has been prosperous. I've talked to an inflatables company and many ladies interested in coming out to sell their merchandise. I feel that this is growing stronger each day and that it will be a great success!

I had several more vendors interested in joining us at the event today. Other than that, no progress made in the other stages (it's Saturday) so I'll be back that bright and early Monday morning.

I wasn't able to find a inflatable rental company today but we did find out that King's Cause is going to be joining us! I also spoke to several companies that maybe signing up to be vendors! It was a prosperous day!

Planning Stages 7/21/11
Today was a great day for progress. I was able to book the train ride and I contacted a couple more inflatable rental companies in hopes that the children's area will be planned completely by the end of next week.
